Today Broadway Academy hosted a career fair and Broadway Elementary students were invited to join. Students enjoyed a fun morning of information and fun demonstrations!

We are pleased to announce the 2026 Express Youth Athletic Camps! For the 11th year, Express Athletics is excited to welcome young athletes to experience a variety of sports for a weeklong, FUN camp lead by our Express Varsity Coaches and teams. The camps will have specific sport instruction, by the head varsity coach and players. Participants will have what is most important, FUN.

Broadway Academy and Broadway Intermediate are participating in a cereal box collection for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Many of the students at Broadway Academy have volunteered for the foodbank this year and helped sort the various food items for the foodbank. We collected 55 boxes so far and would like to make our goal of 400 boxes by June 12th!

On June 12th we will celebrate with making a chain of all the boxes and knocking them down like dominoes before we donate the cereal.

Phone System Maintenance Notice

The Elmira City School District would like to inform our community of a brief, scheduled maintenance to our regional phone system.

Date: Monday, April 20
Time: Beginning at 4:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 10 minutes

During this time, phone services across the district will be temporarily unavailable.

This maintenance is being completed outside of school hours to minimize any disruption to students, staff, and families. Because this work is coordinated with an external vendor, it must take place during this scheduled time.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we complete this important update.

The Elmira City School District has announced "give back" days for the 2025-2026 school year, providing extra time off over Memorial Day weekend due to unused emergency/snow days.

In addition to Monday’s Memorial Day, schools will now also be closed on Friday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Memorial Day Weekend Closure: The District is closed from Friday, May 22 through Tuesday, May 26, 2026, including Monday’s Memorial Day.

Purpose: These days are utilized from unused snow days.
